5 full pages double spaced, typed should include introduction, main body discuss the major points you discovered in your research ; give supporting evidence or examples for each of these points. when discussing research use third person: ” researcher believe …” no t I found the only place where you may use first person is when you are relating what you have learned to your own life or people you know or have known. Giving examples of how the research applies to you is encouraged. conclusion -summarize the key points found in the research and their importance.
This is not a book report or a copy of material straight out of the book.Its important that you use several different sources for your research. you must paraphrase the material you find ( that is the challenge part for me- the instructor is asking to put it in my own words) and use a minimum of direct quotes. Requires to turn in a print- out of all electronic sources( just the actual pages used)sources cited with in the body of the report, use MLA or APA citation standards. The title page and works cited page are additional pages and do not count as part of the five pages.
Format: paper is to have 1″ margins all around (top, bottom and sides) there should be at least three section headers to help organize the body of the report. list should be single spaced . Use 10 0r 12 point type. I also down load material i have been reading but I don’t have to stick with that subject the instructor said we could choose any topic as long as related to the field of psychology.
