Step 3: Write your paper following format and content instructions carefully.
Format
1. 1-2 pages single spaced, 1 inch margins, 12pt font with the following sections. Use citations for any information and ideas presented in your paper that are not your own.
2. A cover page that includes:
• The Assignment Name, your name, your section of 110A, date
• An Executive Summary: Four to five sentences on the cover page summarizing your analysis. Do not just copy your Article Summary. Think of this as the main take-aways from your critique.
Content – please follow these instructions, you need not answer all of the questions presented in the
“Framework for Ethical Decision Making” presented in the case reading.
• Part 1: A paragraph that summarizes the facts of the case using the questions provided in the instructions
to guide your answer not as a checklist. What facts are not known? Can I learn more about the situation? Do I know enough to make a decision?
• Part 2: Explain how to address the issue from each of the 5 approaches. What evaluation does each approach suggestion and why? How you structure this section (number of paragraphs, headings, etc.) is up to you. Be concise but fully support your arguments.
• Part 3: Conclude your paper with a brief, one paragraph summary of the facts and your decision on which of
the ethical approaches should Greg follow and how will that effect his evaluation of Natalie.
Step 5: Check your work against the grading rubric provided at the end of this document
Step 6: Turn in your assignment, following the submission instructions carefully
Submission Instructions:
1. Check your paper against format expectations above and the grading rubric below.
2. Submit your paper its assignment submission folder on Canvas by the due date. Late assignments will not be accepted.
