I am applying for scholarships and need help writing my previous awards and achievements into an essay. Im going to list all my awards and accomplismants and then some things that have happened to me that could be incorporated into the essay. I was an all-district running back 2013-2014, All-district 2013-2014, 4x200m relay district champs, 4x400m relay district champs. Salutatorian of class, returning from freshman year looking to improve. Ive been through a lot personally, my father was kiled in a car accident when i was 8 weeks old widowing my mom with three children, when my mother started to date again her boydfriend was very verbally and physically abusive stunting my development and self esteem. then when I was ten my brother was killed in a car accident, then in my senior year my moms abusive boyfriend just abandons us and we come to find out he now has a new baby girl, shortly after my sister was almost killed after giving birth to my nephew. Ive been working part time at kroger to help pay my rent because my mother can barely afford to help me after she helps my sister and nephew because my sister is not mentally stable after the hospital accident and can not work to support herself or my nephew.
