I have already uploaded the graphs in a document. So, I have provided you with all the graphs.

Assignment Topic:
Compare government balance deficits/surpluses as a percentage of GDP in the U.S., Japan, Germany, and Greece

Please, also explain the graphs as much as possible. Discuss their significance, and indicate possible topics for future research.

In addition, give a nice short but efficient and easy to understand introduction, where you explain the Topic in order to understand the whole assignment.

Explain Why there is a peak and troughs in a certain countries graph and the reasons for that.

Just explain the reasons, why the grpahs look like this etc..

You can prepare the paper in bullet points, because the time is so limited

Questions could be:

If you look at Greece’s chart, why does the graph keep going up and down so suddenly?
Why do you think USA deficit is lower than them all?
Why does the line always go back up at the beginning of the year for all of the countries?
Why are all the countries in deficits and what does that even mean?

Possible answers:

For Greece it is likely that the tax payments are to be concentrated in certain periods, to avoid this, you should change the frequency. Regarding the US deficit and the question on the line going back up at the beginning of the year for all the countries, you should use a lower frequency to avoid that. After having changed the frequency you will very likely be able to better compare the countries’ deficits.
