Coursework Details: Strategy
Use the models and frameworks explored in this module to critique the approach to strategy in an organisation of your choice. Your completed report should contain the following:
A contextual overview of the organisation, current strategic approaches and rationale for conducting the analysis and choice of models (20 %)
Detailed evidence based application of relevant models of strategy to the organisation (50%)
A critical evaluation of the chosen strategic models in terms of their usefulness and fit to your context (20%)
Recommendations for development and change for the organisation and the strategic models (10%)
The final report should be 3000 words in length plus appendices and should be completed and submitted to the Blackboard Learn Module. Assessment will be based on criteria such as structure, content, reading, analysis and application and general presentation.
I would like my assignment to be based on a Construction Company, this can be called ‘Company A’ for the purpose of this assignment, the assignment should discuss the companies current arrangement (business plan) and their new plan for business, adding customer value. I would like journals and papers referenced from the construction industry and possibly quotes cited if possible. I have course literature which I can forward upon acceptance of the assignment also which will hopefully help.
