Regarding text/language you should look at Semiotics (Derrida, Barthes, Irigaray etc), perhaps beginning with a Semiotics reader. Look at Old Mistresses Parker and Pollock in this regard. I am intersted in autobiographical visual art. Also the use of text with drawings. So in this section I am looking at ‘word and image in autobiograpghy’. the above mentioned references are advised by my tutor, if you could build an argument and support it/ or not
