This weeks readings discuss partnerships and performance. Please select two components of the criminal justice system and discuss a way that they can work together to improve the services that they deliver. Your idea should be more complex than “the police should investigate cases and provide information to prosecutors.” You should try to be creative and come up with unique ideas on how partnerships could help improve the overall delivery of service. You may include an entity that is normally not identified as a part of the criminal justice system in lieu of or in addition to one of the two components if you like. As we discussed last week, it is important to measure what we do in the criminal justice system. How, specifically, would you measure the effectiveness of your idea? Is there an accepted method of gauging performance that would work best?
