Indeed, situations sometimes call for us to be dualists, sometimes relativists. Describe a situation in which you have found yourself thinking like a dualist. Why do you think that was the case? Looking back, was that the best approach? Have you ever thought as a multiplist or a relativist. If so describe those situations and examine your response as a learner. What do you think about these three positions in terms of your learning in classwork here at VCU and/or in high school. Did some classes seem to foster one type over the other? Explain.
