To contrast means to analyze the way their expressive qualities are different. You MUST use at least 5 of the vocabulary words that have been introduced in this lesson. One way to demonstrate that you understand the concepts in this lesson is to incorporate into your essay some of the terms that were introduced in the lesson, these terms are: subject matter, visual qualities, characterize, representational, abstract, nonobjective, etc. You do not have to use every word that appears in bold type in the commentary or textbook, but be sure to use a minimum of five of the words, thereby demonstrating that you understand what they mean. Put your vocabulary words in bold text. This will show us which words you are targeting within your discussion. If you do not bold your vocabulary, you could lose points from your grade.
