My point needs to be argued in the form of a personal story that relates to education. (My personal story would be that I am not great at test taking so I find education to be a difficult form of measuring how much “knowledge” one has. The introduction includes the thesis statement, and the conclusion does not introduce brand new material or information. -Each paragraph is properly developed with textual evidence, details, analysis, principles of argument and appeals, etc. -Essay uses only academic sources. -Quotes, summaries, and paraphrases are all documented; otherwise, it will be regarded as plagiarism and thus a failing grade. -Works Cited/References page includes all sources cited in the paper. Can be more than 3 if needed My Thesis is listed below but please don’t feel the need to stick strictly to it! Thesis Statement: There is a large emphasis on being “well educated” in American society. Can colleges and professors truly measure the success of someone by a class?
