Write an expository essay that informs about, explains or describes a person, place, thing, activity, situation, or idea. The topic is completely up to you, but it must be appropriate for a college level essay. This essay is not personal. It is not about you, so you may not use first person narrative voice. Requirements: MLA formatting including pagination header, heading, title, quotes, in text citations (also called cites), and a Works Cited At least two sources: one source must be a peer reviewed, scholarly (I attached them for you from the school liberty) At least three quotes are needed. There should be at least one in each body paragraph, but not more than three. Try to maintain the 80/20 rules for quotes and cites. For every line you have from a source, there should be at least four lines of your own words and ideas. Do not let the source speak for you. The source supports your points; it does not make the points for you. Quotes or cites in the introduction or the conclusion are not necessary.
