We will be developing written material for a 5th Grade class for their class garden project that they will be creating. • You are to select two different vegetables and one fruit (Nectarine/ Okra/ Onion)that will be growing in the “class garden”. You will need to provide a folder that consists of the following: o 10 different facts about each fruit and vegetable, and make them appropriate for children-level of literacy o 1 recipe that features each fruit & vegetable (consider ease of prep and minimal ingredients) o A handout that provides 10 Healthy Tips for the children and their families. The handout should be colorful, interesting to look at and easy to read. These facts must be relevant to the children and their stage of development.
