| Guidelines: Students will be asked to consider the important issues and present research of a quality appropriate to this course level, in which a central thesis statement is defended (i.e. no websites, no regurgitation of simple facts). Papers are expected to be approximately 1500 words in length and presented using proper essay structure, grammar, punctuation, and in-text citation of all sources. I would like the paper to be about two important Artists in the Italian Renaissance and how their work is different, effected society, important art pieces, new techniques developed, and so on. Basically a thesis about the Italian Art Renaissance and how the artists played a role in the culture and techniques. There is no specific restriction on the material or artists however I would prefer if one of the artists is Leonardo Da Vinci and an artists of your choice. You must use at least 3 academic sources from the AUD library, one of which must be your textbook.
