Your grade on the project will be based on technical content, and overall ‘quality’ of the written presentation. Papers

must follow standard technical writing format with title, author, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and

conclusion. For a grant proposal, and/or design project other formats may be appropriate. Maximum report size: 5,500

words/20 double-spaced pages (not including title page, abstract, tables of contents, appendices, bibliography)
The following metrics will be used to assess your final report:
• Demonstration of a fundamental understanding of the topic (10 marks)
• Sufficient depth of the material presented (5 marks)
• Understandable to general biomechanical audience (5 marks)
• Engineering/technical content at postgraduate level (10 marks)
• Quality of literature review (including appropriate referencing) (10 marks)
• Original contribution (10 marks)
• Standard report format (10 marks)
• Overall quality of report (10 marks)
