b. Research the literature for refereed journal articles that discuss the use of the
theory in practice.
c. Critically review the theory and develop a plan for how you would utilize this
theory in your practice to include holistic spiritual nursing. (use chapter 3 of
Parker & Smith to review theory)
d. In a 6-8 page 6th edition APA paper (this does not include the title page and
reference page):
i. Provide an overview of the theory
ii. Discuss the rationale for selection of this theory
iii. Develop a plan to implement the theory (I work as a oncology nurse coordinator please provide implementation relevant to this practice i.e. include care and support of those with newly diagnosed cancer, teaching, critical thinking skills, education on supportive managment of disease and side effects of chemotherapy to include nausea, vomiting, pain, constipation, diarrhea)
iv. Describe barriers and challenges to implementation
v. How would you evaluate the effectiveness of care provided using this theory? Provide examples
