The Topic of the research paper is:
“Business Ethics – Values and Social Responsibility of the Banking Sector”
I’ve sent my teacher an email that explained why I chose this topic. I wrote the following:
My topic deals with the banking sector and its influence on the society. The banking sector has a big influence on the society in general, but how far is it responsible for the consequences? This topic is controversial because on one hand it can be said that the bank is responsible, but on the other hand it can be said that it the people who buy the stocks are responsible. Nonetheless, it has to be called in question if all banks nowadays hold on to the values they normally should.
My major is Business Administration and I am interested in banking and finance, so this topic is close to my major and my personal interest as well. Moreover, it is a topic that is always up-to-date and concerns almost the whole society.
In addition there should be an interesting abstract, which makes the reader being interested in the paper an which makes him keep on reading.
There are some additional requirements:
-7 pages of text (Abstract, introduction, main part, conclusion, bibliography)
-Include a properly formatted and complete bibliography, referring to at least 3 sources from peer-reviewed academic journals and with a minimum of 8 sources in all.
