Select three primary peer-reviewed research articles that are relevant to your interests in HR. They may all focus on a single topic, or they may be related to three different topics. After you find the articles, show them to me before you begin to ensure that they meet the above requirements. When writing your paper, use APA format and the six headings below for each article. Below each of the six headings is a description of what issues you should address in each section
1. Problem
Describe the problem or the hypothesis. What was the author attempting to find out and why?
2. Method
Summarize the method so that the results (see next section) are understandable. Give only enough detail so that the method is CLEAR to the person reading your paper. You don’t have to describe any details other than those necessary for understanding the results.
You also should explain any (Dependent and Independent variables that are mentioned in the research).
3. Results
What were the results? You do not need to report any statistics. Simply describe what the author found in the study.
4. Conclusions
What did the author conclude? How do the results relate to the problem?
5. Quality
Comment on the quality of the research. Was there anything that could have been improved or changed? Were there things that were not addressed by this research? Did the authors of the articles fail to report any information that would have been useful? To what extent can the results be generalized?
6. Career
How does this article relate to your career interests? What did you learn from this research that might be used in an HR career or your current employment setting? After reading the article, what thoughts come to mind that are (or may be) relevant to your career?
