As part of your assessment this semester, we have an assessment strategy/tool called “In-Class Assignment” to which we have allocated 15 percent of your total grade. As part of this assessment, you are required to attend the seminar titled “Stimulating the SMEs (Small and Medium-size Enterprises) Exports in Qatar” on Wednesday 12 November from 12:30 to 2 pm in Room C219. The speaker is from Qatar Export Promotion Agency.
Following your attendance on 12 November, you will be required to prepare (exactly) a two-page 12-font typed double spaced report which will include (a) your understanding of the presentation and discussions, and (b) your recommendations on how SMEs in Qatar can increase export. This report will be submitted in class the following Monday, 17 November. As time permits through the rest of the month, I will ask individuals to lead class discussions of their report.
