Instructions:
• Identify examples/illustrations of at least 10 of the concepts below from the movie you have chosen, for up to 2 points per item. (Partial credit applies to each item.) You may answer up to 12; your best 10 items will count toward your score. Any items past the first 12 will not be graded.
• Where there are multiple concepts listed together, you may only do only one. If you do more than one, we will grade only the first one & then subtract 1 point.*
• Do not give more than one answer per concept. You will lose 1 point for each additional example you give even if all of the examples are correct.*
• Write your examples in such a way that illustrates that you understand the concept. However, you should NOT write out a definition & then an example.
• Your answers should be in the format of a list. You will lose half of the points if you write your answers as an essay.
• You may use one example for more than one concept. That is, if something is an example of both and folkway and a law, you can use it for both.
• At the top of your assignment, include your name, your section number, & the title of the movie.
• You must turn in a hard copy. We will not accept emailed assignments.
• You do not have to type your answers, but they must be legible. If we cannot read it, it is wrong. There is no appeals process for this criterion.
• Late assignments will be assessed a 2-point penalty per “business day” that they are late.
