2 weeks from now I was asked to write a cause and effect essay and i did with the following topic ”Why Some roommates do not get along” and we were asked to choose to write three causes or three effects, i chose there causes: space problem, food problem and noise problem (www.wisegeek.com).
Now, our assignment is:
first – write annotated bibliography rough draft and
second – Modify, expand, convert and change my cause and effect essay into an argument essay by performing the following tasks:
1) Create a different title
2) Alter and expand my cause and effect thesis statement – see sample argument thesis
3) Add additional information to my background paragraph ( paragraph 2)
4) Write an extra paragraph to address an opposing/counter viewpoint ( place it right before the conclusion)
5) Include the new thesis statement in the conclusion, and write an additional concluding strategy statement, e.g. quote, question, opinion,etc
