They will conceptualize the situation by reviewing the existing literature in terms of theoretical, practical, interpersonal, cultural, organizational, or societal perspectives. Guidelines for the Analysis/Problem-solving Project: Purpose: This assignment is an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of the conflict management. It is an opportunity to integrate of theory and practice and explore where and how theory and practice connect. Theory provides the essential foundation for practice. It is always important to understand the ways in which theory is used to make sense of and then respond to real conflict and problem situations. The objective of the analysis assignment is to see how the concepts you have learned can be applied to solve real world conflicts and problem situations. The purpose of this research is to show the effects ineffective communication have in an organization. Interpersonal skills are crucial to an organization because effective communication dictates operational effectiveness and facilitates teamwork. Failure to communication properly can lead to conflict, which can harm an organization. II. Literature Review ii. Work and Conflict – “The human relations and interactionist perspectives places the emphasis on ow conflicts are managed as the critical element in determining if they have a negative or positive effect on the workplace environment. Employee Engagement – Effective communication can result in positive employee engagement, resulting in increased productivity. vi. Interpersonal Communication – Interpersonal communication is critical for managers charged with building workplace cooperation and trust. Effective interpersonal communication equips management with the skills needed to efficiently instruct employees on skills necessary to perform their duties.
