Relationships are often a primary mode of expressing an author’s message or commentary. Thinking about the relationships in the texts we’ve looked at this semester, analyze the role of at least two relationships from each story/movie (examples include father-son, husband-wife, employer-employee, etc.) and how the role(s) function as part of a larger commentary.
There are 2 short stories and 1 movie in which you will be doing an analysis on for this assignment. They are "Good Country People" and "A Good Man is Hard to Find" both by Flannery O’Connor. The movie is "Its a Wonderful Life" by Frank Capra.
The required text that is being used is The Norton Introduction to Literature 11th Edition, Kelly J. Mays. Citations are required from the text (hopefully you’re able to obtain one or have access to Nook or similiar online textbook software)
The instructor is a high school and a college professor, therfore she is very meticulous and firm about originality. PLEASE NO PLAGARISM. She uses TURNITIN.COM.. This is a high school paper-so nothing too fancy is expected
