As a group, you are to develop a presentation based on the topic assigned to your group (your topic is located in your group�s �My Baby� discussion area). Your presentation should be informative and provide new information to the class (in addition to the textbook). Therefore, you will be required to research your topic.
Content (25 points):
�Evidence of outside research (at least four sources outside of your textbook).
�Analysis of how developmental theories apply to your topic.
�Information clearly explained to the class.
�Topic considered from a cross-cultural perspective (race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, nationality, etc.).
�Contrasting viewpoints presented.
Format/Presentation (10 points):
�Discussion and flow of content is well organized.
�Material is presented in an interesting and interactive way � including visual aids.
�Visual aids add depth to presentation topic.
�PowerPoint font size should not be smaller than 24. Average size is 28.
�Adhere to time limit (20 minutes, any visual aids, videos, resources, must be included in this time limit).
Presentation Summary and Preparation (10 points):
�Presentation outline is clear, concise, and well organized.
�Outline identifies the name of each person actively involved in your group presentation.
�Outline identifies each person covering each sub-topic.
�Include resources used (at least four).
�Share your outline with me in advance (post in your group�s discussion area) and submit final copy on the day of your group presentation.
Group Collaboration (5 points):
�All group members are required to rate each other’s level of participation on a scale from 1 (being the lowest) to 5 (being the highest). Your specific collaboration grade will consist of the average of your fellow group members’ ratings of your participation. Group member evaluations will only be read by your instructor.
