ABC Islamic center registration system

1. project charter
2. kick of meeting
3. business case
samples are attached

and the system problem and solution are as follows:
Statement of the problem:
ABC Islamic Center provides a wide variety of activities, from sports to cooking to memorizing Qur’an, Tajweed and the list goes on. It handles a lot of information related to Islam and society. The center requires users (customers) to register in order to attain the activity they desire. Surprisingly, the current registration system is manual and paper based. . This has resulted into a number of problems and inconveniences. First, the system is prone to omissions, where users even after registering, they find their names absent from the list. Next, users miss the registration deadline, mainly blamed for reduced awareness or promotion. In addition, the organization complains of the use of bulk paperwork and absence of IT experts who would assist with the registration automation. Therefore, there is the need to overcome all the inadequacies associated with the manual, paper based registration system.
Suggested solution:
The center does not have any web site. We believe that such a huge center with a lot of interesting activities should have an effective Website which will provide meaningful information to the communities in Qatar as well as outside more effective and efficient ways.
The Web site would provide various functionalities to users as well as to the Center’s administrators. These include the facilities, maps of the centers as well as various aspects of different departments of the center, the list of activities and the ability for users to register online. We also want to include some new features to the web site such as popup windows at the prayer times as well as some of the important Islamic events notifications, and hadeeths at the top of the site without interfering the main functions of the site. We envision a website for the center with attractive features in which general public will be interested in. This site will help advertise the centers name and provide people with better services that the center has to offer.

Global Comparison and Reflection Papers Each student must write two Global Comparison and Reflection papers

Global Comparison and Reflection Papers Each student must write two Global Comparison and Reflection papers, using the readings from “Readings for Diversity and Social Justice” edited by Maurainne Adams, Warren J. Blumen feld, Carmelita Castaneda, Heather W. Hackman, Madeline L. Peter, and Ximena Zuniga. For each paper, students must select two articles that are thematically related but one of which must be about a global justice issue. I will place my copy of the book in the library reserve section. I have placed a “G” next to each article that is designated as a global issue article. If you have your own book, look at the table of intersections (page XV) on the pages after the contents section. The readings are designated as Global Issues. The themes of the articles are separated by sections and each section has a least one global issue article, with the exception of sections 7 and 9. Please don’t select an article from these two sections because you will not have a global article to compare and contrast. Each paper must answer the following questions. Papers are to be written in paragraph form with introduction, middle, and conclusion sections. You must refer to the title of the articles and use the APA format for citations in the paper and the reference page. Compare and contrast the two articles you’ve selected. How are they alike and how are they different? How do you feel about this issue? Explain these feelings. Why do you feel this way? Why is this issue important? Who does this issue affect? Directly? Indirectly? What moral or ethical issues arise, for you, from this issue? What questions arise for you from this issue? Use critical thinking to write about the issue and to answer the questions. Critical thinking involves looking beyond what is there. It involves thinking about the next logical step; if this is happening, what could happen next? You language that is appropriate for a college level paper, including formal language and not slang to discuss your feelings.

The riddle of laughter neural and psychoevolutionary underpinning of joy

The paper needs to be at least 1 page, and a maximum of 2. Roughly half of the reaction paper should be a brief summary of the study, in your own words, i.e., what did they study and how, and what did they find. The second half of the paper should be your thoughts….what did you learn from the study, given the results, what would you suggest would be a good topic for a follow-up study, what did you find interesting about the study, and why. Basically I need to see that you read the article and put some thought into it.
