The role of Leptin in the brain for catecholamine’s (TH) neurons, Serotonin (5HT) neurons and orexin neurons

please write a Literature review on how leptin work on the (TH) neurons, Serotonin (5HT) neurons and orexin neurons please follow the outline I gave you please make sure that you use original article and new references form 2010-2016 I will upload some articles and outline to help you, Topic: The role of Leptin in the brain for catecholamines (TH) neurons, Serotonin (5HT) neurons and orexin neurons Outline Literature review 1 1- The important of Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) in the brain. a- Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) is an enzyme involved in catecholamines biosynthesis in the brain. The activation and phosphorylation of the TH enzyme is dependent on a variety of protein kinases, such as PKC in short term mechanisms. b- The distribution of Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neurons in the brain ( PVN, PAG, DR, NTS and RVLM) 2- The important of Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in the paraventricular nuclei of the hypothalamus (PVN): a. Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neurons involves in the regulation of Cardiovascular function b. Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neurons involves in the regulation of food intake c. The influence of leptin on Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in the paraventricular nuclei of the hypothalamus (PVN) 3- The important of Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in the periaqueductal gray (PAG) a. In the regulation of Cardiovascular function b. In the regulation of food intake c. The influence of leptin on Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in the periaqueductal gray (PAG) 4- The important of Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in the dorsal raphe nucleus (DR) a- The dorsal raphe nucleus (DR) is located on the midline of the brainstem and is part of the raphe nucleus b- The influence of leptin on Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in dorsal raphe nucleus 5- The important of neuron that are contained Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) in the nucleus of the solitary trac (NTS) a. In the regulation of Cardiovascular function b. In the regulation of food intake c. The influence of leptin on Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in the nucleus of the solitary trac (NTS) 6- The important of neuron that are contained Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) in the Rostral Ventrolateral Medulla (RVLM) a. In the regulation of Cardiovascular function b. In the regulation of food intake c. The influence of leptin on Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neuron in the Rostral Ventrolateral Medulla (RVLM) Literature review 2 7- The important of Serotonin (5HT) neurons in the dorsal raphe nucleus 8- The important of Serotonin (5HT) neurons in the Rostral Ventromedial medulla (RVM) 9- The important of Serotonin (5HT) neurons in the raphe pallidus nucleus (RPa) 10- The influence of leptin on(5HT) neurons in the dorsal raphe nucleus. 11- The influence of leptin on(5HT) neurons in the Rostral Ventromedial medulla (RVM) 12- The influence of leptin on(5HT) neurons in the raphe pallidus nucleus (RPa) Literature review 3 The important of orexin neuron in Lateral Hypothalmic Area and The influence of leptin on orexin neuron The Lateral Hypothalmic Area contains thousands of orexin neurons, however, orexin neurons also innervate nearly the entire CNS (Anabolic Neuropeptides paper). Orexin consists of 130 amino acids in rodents. Studies have shown that central administration of leptin decreases hypothalamic orexin A levels, implying that leptin may inhibit orexin activity in LHA. Central administration of orexin A raises the metabolic rate and causes hyperthermia. Orexin is divided into orexin A and orexin B, orexin A is a peptide that consists of 33 amino acid and it is identical in human and rat. However, orexin B is a peptide that consists of a 28-amino acid peptide and there is different between human and rat by two amino acid (Sakurai et al., 1998). It has been known that orexin is implicated in energy homeostasis (Sakurai et al., 1998). Previous studies showed that orexin neurons contained Ob-Rb (What’s the significance of this?) (Haˆkansson et al., 1998), therefore, leptin was believed to directly influence the expression of orexin in the LH. However, new findings suggest that orexin peptides are separate from Ob-Rb expressing neurons in the LH, thus leptin likely modulates orexin neurons in LH via indirect methods (Leinninger et al., 2009, Funato et al., 2009, Leinninger et al., 2011; Louis et al., 2010).

Social Psychology Experiment

For this assignment, you will need to conduct an actual social experiment. Because I will not directly see your social experiment, you will need to describe (in detailed writing) the purpose / hypotheses / procedures / methods / results for this experiment, and discuss how your social experiment relates to some aspect of Social Psychology. This term paper will focus on more practical applications of social psychology rather than theoretical applications. Term Papers must meet the following criteria: Papers need to be 7 pages in length, typed, double spaced, with 12 pt. Times New Roman font. Margins need to be 1 inch on all sides. You do not need a title page, abstract, or reference page. Papers should be free of grammar and spelling mistakes. They should be organized, clear. Additionally, you do not need to use citations in this paper. (20 points) Include a general description of your experiment. What is the purpose of conducting such an experiment? Why did you choose to design your experiment this way? What area/theory of social psychology does your experiment address? What results do you think you will find? Clearly state a hypothesis for this experiment (For example: I believe a majority of people will …) (20 points) Describe exactly what you did in your social experiment. This includes describing (step by step) how you prepared / set up the experiment, any materials you may have used for the experiment, and a complete description of your procedure. This description should be detailed enough so that if I wanted to repeat your experiment, I would be able to do it the exact same way. (20 points) Finally, I want you to report your findings from this experiment and interpret what these findings mean in relation to social psychology. You do not need to report your findings using statistics, but you may do this if you feel it strengthens what you found. You must answer all of these questions: What patterns in behaviors/responses did you notice about the people you observed? Were there any people/events during your experiment that stood out? Were there any expected/ unexpected findings in people’s behaviors? Was your original hypothesis correct/incorrect? Explain your interpretation. How did your experiment address what you were trying to show? Were there any problems with the setting/people in your experiment? VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT design your experiment so that you put yourself or others at any risk. Because of this, I would avoid engaging in physical contact or using aggression with strangers or people you are trying to observe. I am allowing you to do anything you want for this experiment, but please exercise common sense as well when you do it. If you think your experiment could potentially cause harm to you or other people (social reputation, emotional, psychological well- being, physical health, etc.), do not attempt it. ***Note to writer from student: Please pick anything you want for this experiment that has to do with social psychology. I don’t care if you make it up, just let it make sense. Also, avoid anything found online (I am sure that goes without saying) my professor uses a badass plagiarism tracker so please avoid! Also, before you get started please send me a message with at least two options of experiments you want to write about.

Ancient Greece

What are some of the different versions of freedom (in broad terms as well as specific to speaking truthfully) in either ancient Greece or Rome, and how do these versions differ to our modern conception of freedom?

Freedom of speech is thought to originate in classical Athens (480-430 BC) and is also found in the Roman Republic (509-31 BC). However, it is conceived of very differently depending on the time and place. What are some of the different versions of freedom (in broad terms as well as specific to speaking truthfully) in either ancient Greece or Rome, and how do these versions differ to our modern conception of freedom? Please refer to specific periods, places, individuals and texts in your answer. Research Essay The Essay in this course is focussed upon argumentation (rather than mere opinion) using a range of relevant texts and particularly texts with high credibility. Resources are provided in MyUni to assist with readings about essay writing and with practical guidance (see for example, ‘How to write a magnificent essay in nine short points’). There will also be discussion and practical activities concerning essay writing in the seminar program. Your tutor will be able to assist you with advice on the presentation of essays and with ways to improve your writing skills. If you think that your written work would benefit from further assistance, contact the Arts Study Skills Team: (see ‘Support’ at the end ofthis document for links). There are also many books that give advice on essay writing (see for example, J. Clanchy and B. Ballard, Essay Writing for Students: A Guide for Arts and Social Science Students, Longman Cheshire, Melbourne, 1981; K. Windschuttle and E. Elliot, Writing, Researching, Communicating: Communication Skills for the Information Age, McGraw Hill, Sydney, 1995). You should feel free to discuss the exact style and format of any written work with your tutor as they will most likely be the ones marking your work. In this essay it is essential that you provide at least ten (10) scholarly sources in your reference list, with in-text references support to specific points in your essay body. Sources in your reference list are not included in your word count, but quotations and in-text references within the body of your essay are. There is flexibility of 10% on the word count, meaning that you can write 10% too much or 10% too little without penalty.
