Analyzing: can the student distinguish between the different parts? appraise, compare, contrast, criticize, differentiate, discriminate, distinguish, examine, experiment, question, test. Evaluating: can the student justify a stand or decision? appraise, argue, defend, judge, select, support, value, evaluate Creating: can the student create new product or point of view? assemble, construct, create, design, develop, formulate, write. • 30% B. According to a job description for an Urban Agriculture Specialist at the University of Maryland, the competencies needed to excel include, “planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for urban and suburban communities and residents. “ The relationships required to succeed in this position include, “partnerships with local and state agencies, elected officials, communities, landowners, residents, industry and environmental groups in developing economic urban farming opportunities.” Although this field is largely related to urban planning and agriculture there is also an element of the job that requires partnership with local and state organizations. 40% C.
