For this assignment you are to choose two non-human (living) primates. Write a research paper in which you compare and contrast these two primates. Address the following details in an organized way.
• Primate taxonomy (suborder, infraorder, family, etc.).
• Key physical attributes/anatomy (body size, shape, coloration, prehensile tale, sagittal crest, dental formula, etc.)
• Habitat/location
• Specific adaptations to habitat
• Residence patterns, migrations
• Dietary habits
• Social behavior (grooming, tool-use, vocalizations, altruism, etc.)
• Interactions with humans
• Suggestions for conservation of both species
• Additional noteworthy attributes you find while researching
Depending what two primates you choose to compare and contrast, many of the above details can be found in your textbook, but I require you use at least three (3) additional outside resources in your paper (list these in a “works cited” page at the end of your paper).
You are required to use in-text citations/references for all information you research (APA, AAA, etc.). For example, when citing our textbook, you would put your reference at the end of the sentence with author’s last name, publication date, and page numbers like this:
