I was at a psych clinical.
I had to do an initial interview with a psych patient
He had depression and cocaine dependence. some of his issues were poor family support because of use of cocaine. his wife died of breast cancer , lost his trucking business and now homeless. did not comply with his drugs and had sever depression and seeing things. I interviewed him today but he came to the hospital a week ago. please improvise and be very creative with the questions below.

1. Describe a clinical event that you observed or participated in. What were the surrounding circumstances and the outcome for you and the patient?
2. What were your thoughts about the event? What were your feelings about the event?
3. Include “what I learned about myself today that I would like to change in order to provide more comprehensive patient care on subsequent clinical days, and how do I plan to make this change?”
4. How do I plan to take care of myself this week?
