DISCUSSION BOARD FORUMS INSTRUCTIONS Discussion Board Forums enhance learning as you share your ideas, perspectives, and experiences with the class. For each forum you will post a thread in response to the topic presented. In both your thread and each reply, mention at least 1 idea/term from the textbook (no direct quotations); cite and reference in current APA format. Your thread must be at least 250 words and no more than 400. Also, to enhance the discussion, you are to reply to 2 other student’s threads. Your replies must be at least 100 words and no more than 250. Topics will be based upon the Reading & Study assigned each module/week. Threads and replies must include at least 1 idea/term from the textbook cited and referenced in current APA format. Both the frequency with which you participate and the depth of the content written will affect your grade. Do not use direct quotations from the textbook or any other source (except possibly a short Scripture verse) in any of your discussion board posts. These posts must be in your own words (paraphrased) so that your understanding of the topic can be adequately assessed. Also, do not attach a Word document; rather, type directly into the textbox or copy and paste from a Word document directly into the textbox. Be conversational. In other words, “talk” back and forth with your classmates; do not simply regurgitate the information from the textbook.
