For this project, you will be conducting a secondary analysis of existing data.

For this assignment, the writer will be downloading an existing individual-level dataset from a trusted organization (such as the U.S. CDC or the WHO), on selected study question that you can explore with the data, conducting basic statistical analysis, and writing up your findings. Your analytic techniques do not have to be complex, but you must have a clear and specific objectives for your analysis and you must answer these with your results section. You will present your results two ways: as a paper and as a poster. Guidelines in the checklist list must be followed to its entirety.

? the discussion section summarizes the study, identifies limitations, and compares the current findings to the findings of previous related works

The type of analytic plan that is commonly used with each of the major study approaches starts with a description of the study population. Studies with no comparison group, like case-series and cross-sectional surveys, may need only univariate analysis. Simple statistics, like count (frequencies), proportions, and averages, are likely to provide an adequate description of the study population.
