It is important, however, that the analyses pertain to the object text and conceptual ideas and issues pertaining to the topic.
note that the objective for this assignment is for you to do a textual analysis of three films using the concepts from the readings that pertain to the films. I am encouraging you to “drill down”, to think deeply about the films — their images — in relation to the concepts, and not to merely do an exegesis (summary) of either the films or the readings. The idea with this exercise is that you are able to think creatively, find things to say about the films, rather than repeating what others have already said about the films
