You are assigned one article per unit to review on a topic of your choice. You may chose any topic within the unit. The paper should be between 3-7 pages
• The article you review must be reflect empirical research and appear in a peer-reviewed journal (such as The Journal of Forensic Science) that is published from 2003 until the present. Please ask me if you are in doubt about your article.
• Use APA format for citations. Double space, 1 inch margins
• Include a hard copy of the article with your review.
This is a survey course for Forensics and is a science credit, however it is still a very basic course. I am not looking for an in depth analysis of the science and statistics within the article, while quite important and should be noted, but for your understanding of the information that it imparts. Your thoughts about the research are the ultimate goal of this paper. Why was the study important? What does it contribute to the field? Why did you chose this topic/article? What questions do you still have about it or what else should be researched?
