Build on your first two papers. Plug in YOUR argument or arguments but do so using these two sentences.

By now you will be familiar with the guidelines above. Your paper must begin with our direct explicit thesis answering the

two part question that the course is asking. The rules from the first two papers remain the same for this one. This paper

should be from 9-18 pages, the cumulative work of all three papers.

To get a grade in this course ALL work must be done. Even if an individual assignment is submitted too late for a passing

grade it must still be completed.

One of the key concepts that you must master in this class is the use of your own critical thinking skills. Because someone

says it or writes it does not make it true. It does not make it true even if that someone is an author, eyewitness,

president of the United States – or even if they are a professor, even if they are YOUR professor. You will not get points

for agreeing with me or your TA. Instead you will do well if you evaluate the evidence critically, argue the case clearly,

decide what is relevant and what is not and are able to give a good, clear, thoughtful answer as to why you feel that way.
