5. CRITIQUE OF GOTTMAN & SILVER (1999) – (10% of GRADE). Students must read the entire book and submit a critique by the deadline listed on the syllabus both to Blackboard email and a hard copy in class. This assignment is designed in part to advance your critical thinking skills. You are to write a 5-7 page (not including the required cover page, abstract, and reference pages) critique of the book in APA style (however, you may use the first person “I”). Make sure your conclusion is a solid summary of the paper, and includes your final opinion about the book. You must have a cover page, abstract (that summarizes what you will cover in the paper), an introduction and conclusion, and a reference page (even if you only use the book you are critiquing).
