AFTER THAT, read the explanation on the webpage. 5. THINK about the illusion, your experience with it, and what the explanation on the webpage says. Then write several paragraphs on this, and on how the organization of the visual pathway, and receptive fields, help explain the phenomena. Note that some of the website sections DO NOT give you this information. You will have to figure it out for yourself!!!! 6. After you have written your paragraphs, write a reflection on how illusions affect you in everyday life. Relate your descriptions to the information in the textbook. Format in APA Style (title page and abstract are not needed): 1. Put your name at the top. 2. Paper must be double-spaced. 3. Use one-inch margins. 4. Use Times New Roman 12 pts. Written Homework Grading Rubric 40-50 pts 1. Student selects a specific illusion and interacts with it (3a). 2. Student fully describes his or her experience with the chosen illusion (3b), explaining what the student saw, how the illusion presented/functions, what happened as the student followed instruction to interact with the illusion. 3. The student speculates and explains how the visual pathway and receptive fields work to create the illusion. 5. Student reflects on the effects of illusions in everyday life. 7. Student follows correct format and proofreads for typos, spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
