Please do between 375 words minimum 400 words maximum.
Topic area is Actual Intercultural Evens.] Describe a spoken or written intercultural communication event (failed or successfully negotiated) and critically discuss how some of the insights (theories, terms and concepts) you have learned can help you understand better what went on (e.g. there was miscommunication?why?; or everything seemed to go well, but both parties were uncomfortable about some things, or both sides couldn?t agree on issues; or everything went smoothly & you can explain why). Please give as much context and participant information as you can: e.g. setting, place, purpose of the communication, relationship status/power differentials, and which aspect of (co-)culture you suspect was salient: (e.g. different first
language background, ?nationality?, region, class, gender, and so forth). In other words, link your analysis to (co-)cultural beliefs and values, or other deep structure elements of culture. The encounters or events (e.g. a conversation, or an exchange of e-mail or tweets) should be personal encounters that you yourself had, or that someone close to you had?the more real & contextualised it is, the better your reflection & theorising will be. Include the actual dialogue or text messages if possible (not counted towards the 375-word limit)
I will up load the documents like an example given to us and the lecture pp to help you with the terminology that we use.
