One way to synthesize sources effectively is to visualize their overlap

One way to synthesize sources effectively is to visualize their overlap. You have been working on annotation your sources and determining what makes those sources stand out (and what makes them relevant to your project), but as you begin work on Deliverable 3, you must start studying where those sources intersect.

See this link for more info: https://writingcenter.fiu.edu/resources/synthesis-matrix-2.pdf

Your synthesis matrix should accomplish the following:
Outline at least two main ideas or concepts addressed in at least four of your sources
Create a grid the main ideas on the Y axis and boxes for each source along the X axis
In each source box, point to three specific points in the text that address the concept or main idea (and cite them)
Include one direct quotation from the source that you think best encapsulates the main idea
