This paper will refer to four texts, as follows:
1. A portion of a text chosen from the course. For example, this could be a stanza of
a poem, a paragraph from a novel or short story, or a scene from a play or essay. (see the cousework A,B,C,D,E).
2. A portion of a related text from the course in another genre. For example, if your
chosen piece for #1 is a play, then this should be a poem, novel or short story. In
any case, this should deal with the same topic that interests you in the first text –
perhaps approached from a different perspective.
3. An example of another art form (e.g. painting, photograph, song, dance/ballet,
movie etc) that also deals with the issue you find interesting in #1 and #2. You
may need to do some research in the history of this art form and find examples
that correspond to your chosen texts.
4. Finally, find at least one article, essay or book chapter written by an expert in the
field of your chosen subject which you will use either to support your argument or
for you to argue against in order to prove your point.
Give the paper a title. All of the parts are easily available but I can upload parts B,C,D in my account if needed.
