| This is a personal understanding assignment.I will upload the instructions. The entire document is useful in writing the paper but the assignment portion starts at Step 4. I have also uploaded an idea of the personal understanding experiences that I have experienced. For the personal understanding experiences, I ask that you write 5 or 6 and have them on 2 pages in total. The other 3 pages consist of a 1 page essay and a 2 page essay on the personal understanding experiences. I will provide a few personal details to aid with the material: 1. I’m a student at algonquin college. It’s my final semester out of 4 semesters and I graduate in April. 2. I’m 24 years old. I was born in Canada but spent much of my youth in Bulgaria. 3. I’ve been living on my own since May of 2015. 4. I got a DUI about 3 years ago. This really straightened up my life. I used to party all the time, I was in college in another program but I dropped out. Getting a DUI made me go back to school and straighten out my life. 5. My father was a drunk…I strive every day not to be like him. Growing up with him as a father helped because he taught me what not to be. He was an angry person who only cared about himself. Every day of my life I try to be a kind, understanding, and moral person because I don’t want to become the person my father was. 6. In high school I passed but I barely went to class and never took it seriously. However, I’ve gotten straight A’s since starting the accounting program at algonquin 2 years ago. My GPA is about 3.8 (out of 4). I’ve been on the Dean’s honours list every semester (3) for maintaining a GPA above 3.6. You don’t have to use all these details and if you need any more information from me I’d be happy to provide it, just let me know.
