Portfolio of case analyses as evidence of their engagement with the cases during the seminars. The portfolio is to be made up of 4 case analyses, selected from the case studies undertaken in the first 7seminars. This part of the assessment must be composed from the student’s own reflection and each analysis written in their own words. Please note that feedback during the session, from the Tutor or other participants, is formative only and the portfolio should demonstrate therefore both an improved understanding and an advancement in knowledge from any oral discussion on the day. The word limit is 2,000 words. The guidance is that students may allocate 500 words to each case they choose to analyze, within the constraint that any one case analysis cannot be more than 700 and that the minimum for any one case chosen is 350. Answers may also include a thematic overview of no more than 400 words, provided that total the individual cases does not exceed 1600 words. Students seeking the highest marks may do well to consider this option.
