Guidelines
1. First, summarise the article (maximum 40% of the word count). You must demonstrate
your ability to convey the content of the article, the author’s approach to the subject and
the author’s conclusions; the best summaries avoid a point-by-point listing of themes in
favour of a more integrated approach.
2. Second, provide a brief overview of the case study and clearly identify the issues.
3. Third, show a clear link between the article and the case study issues and how the
former can help resolve the latter. The article will provide direction and support for
solutions to the case study issues.
4. It is strongly recommended that references other than the course texts and the article be
used to further support the proposed course of action.
