You just need three ways total – it can be a mixture of the two. In Phillip Cohen’s In Other Words piece beginning on page 666, he is critical of two journalist/authors Hanna Rosin and Liza Mundy and the books they have written. Both books were well received in popular, but not academic circles. The last two sentences on the bottom of page 665 read as follows: “Their skillful writing and anecdotal reporting appear to provide convincing support for a narrative that is fundamentally untrue. And that is not a compliment to contemporary journalism.” Ouch. Describe three ways in which Cohen discredits what either one of the authors suggests to be true in their respective books. For clarity, summarize what either Rosin or Mundy suggest is a fact and then summarize how Cohen’s data proves it is not a fact. DO NOT use the three numbered items on page 671 – those are too obvious 🙂
