I think the topic is interesting and you’ve certainly identified some
key sources of information from Apple in terms of their recent supply
chain shifts.
Here is my advice for proceeding:
1. Find outside perspectives on Apple’s initiatives so that you don’t
run the risk of only toeing the company line. This doesn’t mean that
your overall evaluation can’t be positive, simply that you need external
as well as internal sources. Here’s an example:

2. Conduct an academic literature review on corporate social
responsibility (CSR) and supply chain management so that you can provide
a broader context for your discussion and evaluation of Apple’s
intiatives. Some key themes and questions you will want to think about
are (a) the drivers of (reasons for) companies’ investments in corporate
responsibility iniatives considering that they can include significant
costs, (b) the complexities and difficulties in implementing supply
chain CSR strategies, and (c) the factors that go into evaluation the
success or limitations of different CSR initiatives. Here are a few
sources to get you started (PDFs attached):

https://joeg.oxfordjournals.org/content/1/4/421.short
3. Make sure to reference properly, including in-text references and a
complete works cited. I’m attaching my referencing guide for you.
Also, here is what I explained in a previous email about the general
paper requirements:
“I would expect a 10 page paper by end of semester that includes the
following:
(1) review of the academic literature on the topic of factors
affecting manufacturing location today (~12 journal articles,
including some by Geographers);
(2) analysis of these factors as they relate to Apple’s strategic
objectives, including reference to news articles, corporate profiles,
and, if relevent, personal experience.
(3) a conclusion that summarizes what you’ve learned and provides
suggestions for Apple/Apple analysts to think about going forward.”
Since you have decided to focus on the ethical issues re: supply chain
management, you can focus the academic literature review and strategic
analysis on corporate social responsibility in supply chain management.
