The annotated bibliography asks you to begin finding quality sources

The annotated bibliography asks you to begin finding quality sources, to summarize them in light of your research question, to respond to their content, and to think about how you might use them in the research paper you will write later this semester. Using the library resources you learned about in this module, locate five sources on your topic that you might want to use for your research paper. You should write approximately 200-250 words about each source.
Review the following items:
Wood 53-6 for evaluation resources
Wood Appendix 1
Hacker MLA Tab
Wood Chapter 3 (58-65)- to read annotate, and take notes on all five sources
Wood (67-70) – sample Annotated Bibliography
Use the following guidelines for your resources:
Your sources may include books (print or e-books), academic journal articles, and popular sources (such as newspaper and magazine articles or transcripts of television broadcasts), but all must be found using the library’s databases, catalog, or Scout.
No general web sources are allowed for this assignment.
Make sure your sources represent different points of view on your issue or topic.
You will likely need to find and evaluate more than five sources in order to find the best possible ones for your paper.
Create MLA-style entries for each source and put them in alphabetical order with the following under each entry:
Write a one-paragraph summary of the source. Note that you may not simply copy the article’s abstract. Use the questions in Wood 61 and also the summary skills you learned in EN 101.
Write another paragraph in which you respond to the author’s claims. Do you agree? Disagree? A little of both? Why?
Conclude with a final paragraph that states how you might use this source in your essay.
At the end of your document, write a paragraph or two in which you reflect on the sources you’ve found. Incorporate answers to the following questions:
How many points of view do you have? Do you have enough, or are there more perspectives that you should include?
Which source is most factually convincing? Why?
Which source is most balanced? Why?
Which source has the greatest emotional impact? Why?
Which source is most biased, exaggerated, or oversimplified? Why?
Do you have enough information to write a convincing argument? If not, what do you still need to find?
