Please look at Plutarch’s Life of Brutus (esp. sections 8-18) especially when putting in ancient sources. This is a tutorial paper so really needs to just focus on that particular question. Also look at Appian’s Civil Wars 2. 106-117 & Suetonius’ Divus Iulius, esp. sections 75-89.
