Chapter Reflections: Working in groups, students will lead a detailed discussion reflecting on each chapter. Students will also creatively demonstrate the major themes and issues discussed in the readings through experiential exercises, film clips, news articles, etc.
there are four ways to use the conflict resolution method: first, one can use this method even when the other person or persons are not using it.
By listening to the other with respect and speaking briefly in noninflammatory ways, you can help the other person to simmer down and engage in a
more productive discussion.
second approach is to explain the method briefly and ask the other person to join you in trying this way of relating.
a third way of introducing the conflict resolution method is to do it when things are calm and peaceful.
Lastly, you can use this method to help others resolve their conflict. if the antagonists agree to your third-party role.
For all those four approaches, I want a short video clip to illustrate the situation. and follow up with the video, give a short description to
the video and how is the video relate to what the chapter is talking about. these four videos can be clips from the big bang theory, friends or
some movies, must be very much linked to the four approaches.
