Elaborates on the use of both approaches with clear discussion of inconsistencies between the
nursing and non-nursing theories, the relative contribution of each to advanced practice
Think ahead and envision a theory-based model of advanced practice. How could the theory/model selected guide your practice? How would you like to work with clients, what services would you offer? This would be the first section of your paper. In the second section, introduce ideas from one of the non-nursing theories we cover in class (complexity, organizational, quality improvement, health behavior, integral theory). How would you synthesize ideas from this theory with your nursing theory-based practice? How would you handle inconsistencies between the nursing and non-nursing theories? Each section should be about 4 pp each. Nursing theory choosen is Kolcabas theory
