Case Of Difficult Ethical: Case Of Difficult Ethical Choice A case presents some difficult ethical choice going forward.

A choice between at least two preliminary options appears difficult to decide from an ethical point of view. Cases will be assessed according to the following criteria: One page typed (at least 200 words), double-spaced, with MLA citations as appropriate (for example, wherever the writer makes reference to public facts that can be documented or when the writer draws upon case materials published elsewhere). A case presentation should summarize the outlines of a predicament, crossroads, or tough decision where it is difficult to decide upon the best course of action from an ethical point of view. Sometimes this is a choice of action, sometimes it is a choice of policy, and sometimes the choice is being deliberated for individual action, sometimes for collective action. Please note: a difficult ethical choice is different from knowing very well what is ethical but facing an enticing, and clearly unethical, temptation. Cases should reflect some contemporary predicament that presents some possible choice in your own “mature” experience going forward. Agents confronting the choice should be at least your age or older, at a calendar date no older than this week. Show the ethical difficulty by presenting two preliminary options for action and explaining why it appears ethically difficult to choose between them. Each preliminary option should be considered in light of its possible outcome. In cases developed for this course, do not indicate which choice is or should be taken. That will be the subject of an application exercise. So be sure to stop the action at the moment of choice, but prior to any decision or course of action. Case Types: the primary agent in a case may be individual or collective, and the primary choice may involve an act or a policy. Cases involving an individual agent facing a particular action will take story form, describing Family and Work going forward. This is an exercise of public policy case will begin with a title that names a law that is either proposed or on the books. The case narrative will show that there are arguments by contemporary advocates who are for and against the law (at least one quote properly cited for each side, pro-con, and a works cited section.) These quotes will not come from primary source texts that we use for summaries, rather pro-con quotes will come from news sources and websites that represent the voices of contemporary stakeholders in policy debates.

Promoting Positive Health Behaviors

Application: Promoting Positive Health Behaviors
One strategy that has proven effective for improving population health outcomes is screening. Screening programs for breast, cervical, prostate, and colon cancer allow for early detection and treatment, thereby improving health outcomes. Advocates of early screening programs have sought to inform populations at risk of the value of participating in early screening.
Consider the following examples: In Florida, mobile mammography units have reached out to uninsured women and provided free mammograms. In Maryland, Wellmobiles go out into the community to provide primary and preventive health care services to geographically underserved communities and uninsured individuals across the state. Many such programs are available for individuals to participate in screening, regardless of ability to pay.
In this Assignment, you will evaluate the characteristics of preventive health programs that lead to successful outcomes.
To prepare:
• Review the article “Improving Female Preventive Health Care Delivery Through Practice Change” found in this week’s Learning Resources. Consider why the Every Woman Matters program was not effective in meeting its goals.
• Using the Walden Library and other credible websites, identify at least two successful advocacy programs for early cancer screening and evaluate the characteristics that made them effective based on the evidence presented in the article or website.
To complete:
Write a 3- to 5-page paper that includes the following:
• Summarize the Every Woman Matters program and how the issue of women’s preventive health care was approached. Analyze possible reasons the program was ineffective.
• Summarize the characteristics at least two prevention programs that advocate for early screening, describing what made them successful.
• If you were the nurse leader in charge of developing a follow-up to the Every Woman Matters program, what strategies would you propose for creating a more effective prevention program?

I need to write a reflective account (first person) of the process of doing the research for 2 assessments I have completed. The first one was on migration, I had to interview an immigrant who moved to the UK as a child so grew up in this culture with her family, but they were quite set in their ways and still speaking in mandarin and stuck to the old culture rather than integrate into the new one. The second assignment was an environmental campaign on keep britain tidy. Consider the entire research process, including how you felt about undertaking these assignments and how your perceptions changed during the course of doing them. Then critically reflect upon what you have learned about doing applied research and what you see as the main strengths and pitfalls of this type of research. You should draw on examples of other published applied research (from any domain of psychology) to support the points you make about strengths and pitfalls. Finally, if you were given the opportunity to do both assignments again, what would you do differently and what would you keep the same (and why). I will upload assignment 1 and 2 if that would help, just so you can see what this assignment relates to. Can you send me drafts so I can see if we are on the right track? Thank you. Can you use references from journals only, no books.. and only within the last 5-6 years if possible.

Ecotourism in the Galapagos Islands – Positive and Negative on The Local Environment

Include a minimum of 5 references (NOT abstracts), properly cited throughout the paper (NOT just listed at the end) with any consistent format. Do NOT include encyclopedia type references or sources as Wikipedia, facts.com and the Encyclopedia Britannica. They do NOT count. These provide you with background information or clarification and are not considered to be primary, legitimate references. You may use them of course, but they are not to be counted among the 5 ‘official’ references. A large portion of your grade comes from evaluating the references (and your citations of them). Please ask me if you are unsure about this.

Direct quotes are to be kept to an absolute minimum, or, preferably, eliminated altogether. At this stage in your careers, you must be able to synthesize and paraphrase. There must be no copying of someone else’s words. Please use your own words. Do not use concepts that you do not understand.

Properly structured:
a) introduction of the problem/issue
b) You must target some type of controversy on this issue
b) Supportive documentation/evidence for both sides of this particular issue
c) Include personal reactions, experiences, and opinions
d) Significance of the issue, why is it important?
This presentation (which you will present orally), the equivalent of 7-9 FULL typed pages double-spaced. Cover pages, illustrations, quotes, etc. do not count toward these 9-10 pages. If you prefer, you may read the ENTIRE manuscript to the class.

When you send me the first draft, please include your references inside the paper.
You must hand in the following after your Contemporary Topic oral presentation a short one paragraph, (<1 page review) of your presentation to give to your classmates. For EACH of the following serious errors, you will receive a FULL ONE LWTTER GRADE DEDUCTION: a) Papers that do not meet the required length (and I want at least 5-6 pages for your rough draft). b) Improper citation style: both with your citation style within the text and at the end in your list of References/Sources Cited. Use either MLA or APA, which ever you are most familiar with. Be careful with internet citations. c) Full letter grade deduction for not incorporating my edits/suggestions after your rough draft. 9) Grading Criteria: NOTE that 30% of your grade of your Research Paper is derived from timely submittal of an approved topic (5% of 40%) and a ROUGH draft (25% of 40%). 10) NOTE: NO Extra Credit for this Course. Write a great paper! Contemporary Topics are to be used as a baseline for class discussion, so there MUST be some controversy in your presentation. To receive a grade of C, your presentation will accurately summarize the appropriate literature. Therefore, a ‘Book Report’ gets a grade of C. If you are able to target a controversy, to present a defendable ‘thesis’ and to offer personal thoughts and viewpoints (and/or alternative views), you will receive a grade of B. If you are able to include a discussion of ‘So What’?!, you will receive a grade of A. The ‘So What?’ refers to why this particular topic is important, or at least...why you might think the topic is important. Remember, to receive and A, you need to have met the criteria for ‘C’ and ‘B’. Likewise, to receive a ‘B’, you must meet the criteria for a ‘C’. ALSO: The use of proper scientific references from journals or books is the only way you can get a grade of ‘A’ or ‘B’. We do not want opinion pieces or creative writing; we want evidence, real data and scientific research.
