Advantage of Disadvantage of Dynamic Pricing

Using profit maximizing, optimality, phychological economics, price discrimination and etc. to analyze the article. Prof is very tough and he fails 40% students. 1. We are looking for a critical analysis. Perhaps the biggest mistake you can make is submitting a writing assignment that is largely a summary of the assigned article. 2. Depth is preferred to breadth. The student providing a strong analysis of two relevant points will earn much higher marks than the student identifying a number of points without fully analyzing any of them.1 3. We define critical rather broadly. It is certainly possible to write an excellent critical analysis in which you agree with the author of the article. Likewise, you should not feel shy about disagreeing with an author. In either case, the strength of your analysis will depend on your ability to thoughtfully apply micro economics tools.

Argument of mediation

Assignment 4: Argument of Mediation In our daily lives, we read books, magazines, posters, brochures etc. We listen to the news, watch TV programs and use different social networking sites on the Internet, such as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter, to keep in touch and have fun time with friends and family. However, we may also hear and read about or even participate in discussions on variety of issues that are controversial, such as teenage pregnancy, taxes, and legalization of some drugs, abortion, assisted-suicide or the death penalty. What we read, hear, watch or write influence the way we form and share our personal opinions on issues that affect our society, in particular, and the world at large. This assignment provides you an opportunity to reflect on ONE issue that is of interest to you and persuade your audience to accept your views on the issue. Your goal is an argument of mediation, one that provides a middle ground, which might be acceptable to the people who hold opposing views on the issue. As a class, we will brainstorm specific issues you might address in your paper. Planning and Drafting This assignment, more than any other this semester, requires careful planning. To a large extent, the success of your paper will depend on how thoroughly and diligently you carry out the writing process. Below are some suggestions for getting started.1. Restrict your topic to an area of the subject that you can handle in a short paper. State your topic in the form of a question and then decide whether or not you can answer it within the limited scope of your paper. If you tightly restrict your topic, you’ll find that you can construct a much more complete and satisfying paper.2. Once you’ve focused your topic, collect your evidence from readings in our class and possible other sources, and formulate a preliminary thesis. As you write your draft or outline, test your thesis and, if necessary, modify it as you go. As you can see, you need to complete several preliminary steps before you begin writing in earnest. Between composing your rough draft and your final paper, you’ll need to keep several additional things in mind. 2 3. Consider your readers. How much do your readers know about your topic? Are they interested in it? Do they have strong opinions about it? Do not assume that your readers have read the sources you have read.4. Keep in mind your purpose (e.g., to present object views on a controversial issue and provide mediation that might be acceptable to the opposing parties).5. Interweave your sources into your paper to substantiate your thesis. Be careful not to rely exclusively on one source. Verify the accuracy of your information and quotations. Miscues can undermine the credibility of your thesis. Since this is your last out-of-class essay (except for the revision paper), you will want to demonstrate that you can employ the strategies and techniques we’ve talked about in the course. Some of them are listed below: • A focused topic with a thesis that goes beyond the points made in the essays we read• Relevant, concrete details that support your thesis• A logical pattern of organization; transitions form one idea to the next that guide your reader through your material; unified • Paragraphs, language and tone adapted to your subject, purpose, and audience.• A variety of sentence types (not short, choppy sentences)• Accurate, well-documented use of sources (including paraphrasing and quoting)• Few or no errors in correctness that distract the reader Documentation In documenting your sources use MLA. Be careful not to plagiarize. If you use exact words from a source, be sure to use quotation marks, in-text citations, and a Works Cited page. Also, check to see that you haven’t used too many quotations in the paper; paraphrase or summarize the information instead. here are some helpful tips from my teacher Mediation paper: Provides a common ground for two opposing views on an issue Strategies Described clearly the positions adopted by the opposing groups Restate their positions in a way that shows that you understand both sides Write as an unbiased mediator Move beyond the stated positions and the facts of the dispute to expose the underlying interests, values, and beliefs of those in opposition State what interests the opposing parties have in common Aim at increasing each side’s understanding of the other Explain your solution to the dispute, especially how your position is based on interests and values that will be acceptable to both sides Use logos, ethos, and pathos effectively

Literature reviews are to be 1,000 words in length, and review 8-10 key sources related to the topic of your research essay. Please keep in mind that a literature review is not an annotated bibliography. An annotated bibliography generally deals with each text in turn, describing and evaluating the text, using one paragraph for each text. A literature review, in contrast, is organized thematically and may synthesize many texts in one paragraph. Each paragraph of the literature review should classify and evaluate the themes of the texts that are relevant to your essay question; each paragraph or section of your review should deal with a different aspect of the literature.
