This is a two part question/ course work 500 words per part This e-tivity should help you reflect upon the aims, principles and activities aimed at enhancing oversight of the security sector; a crucial but often overlooked element of Security Sector Reform (SSR). It should also help you think about the different style of language used for different purposes and to target different audiences. part 1:500 word cover letter to a potential donor You are project manager in an international NGO that addresses security and justice issues in post-conflict and developing countries. You have developed a project proposal, the aim of which is to provide training to actors who have oversight functions in the security sector in a country that has recently experienced conflict. You need to write a cover letter to a prospective donor to accompany your funding request. In this short cover letter (approximately 500 words) summarise why oversight is important and provide an overview of the type of training you will provide and to whom it will be provided. When preparing for this e-tivity you might want to review the final unit of this Module. part 2: 500 words press release You have secured funding for the project. Write a short press release (approximately 500 words) that will be distributed to in-country news media outlets at the launch of the project. This press release needs to briefly highlight the value of the project. The aim of the article is to help generate public awareness and support for the project. Please note that referencing is required where you specifically refer to a concept or idea unique to or associated with an author/group. However, referencing is not required when referring to well-established principles and practises (as would be the case if you were performing this task in reality and writing as a subject matter expert).

Build on what researchers have already done and found. You may state your research question as a hypothesis or a null hypothesis if that makes more sense to you – but such hypotheses Custom Essay

Your research question(s) should be measurable, address the problem you identified, and build on what researchers have already done and found. You may state your research question as a hypothesis or a null hypothesis if that makes more sense to you – but such hypotheses, as above, must be testable and relevant. My question is as follows: “Dental caries (tooth decay) is a chronic, progressive, multi-factorial, infectious disease that can begin in early infancy and that, by the time children reach adulthood, will affect over 92 percent of the U.S. adult population. A smaller proportion of the U.S. population will develop moderate or severe dental caries. Dental caries prevalence and severity varies by age, dentition, and type of tooth surface. In addition, dental caries and other oral diseases are highly related to socio-environmental determinants, with the greatest burden on disadvantaged and socially-marginalized populations.” (Dye, Ta, Smith, 2007) This research will address how we can provide education and access to care to the underserved population to help reduce tooth decay.

Alicia Spriggs HC466 was an overall good class but it also was a challenge for me Custom Essay

Please see post from students and write brief responses. These will be discussion response to my peer’s posts what they learned this semester. Please number per response. 1. Alicia Spriggs HC466 was an overall good class but it also was a challenge for me. In taking this class one must be fully committed and focused on the material for the class in order to receive fair credit. With me taking other classes in addition to HC466 and working a full- time job, I struggled a lot with delivering to the professors’ expectations. After the first couple of weeks I was able to sort of get in the swing of things but I think that written expectations for assignments should have been explained slightly more informative for a better understanding. The course content was very interesting and the readings always had my attention and made me want to read more. It was the discussions that I felt required too much in order to receive the full credit. I admired the professors’ way of teaching which allowed students to thoroughly think and be able to elaborate on what they read. The design of the class was fairly easy and straight forward. I also feel as if the quizzes were very helpful in reviewing what the lesson was for the week. I feel that the knowledge attained from this class will be used in my future of managing a health facility. I enjoyed the class and would definitely recommend it to future students. It was a pleasure working with everyone this term and I wish everyone well on their education journeys. 2. Blake Ho This class intrigued me into taking for my Business management in healthcare degree. Learning about Community based healthcare organizations and how they are structured was interesting and helpful for my degree. CBHO’s are an integral part of the healthcare industry and getting the background information on how they are formed and interact with the healthcare facilities was great to learn about. Learning about the culture change and community health brought some insight into the healthcare society as a whole. Another wonderful educational experience was learning about Blooms Taxonomy and how this can actually help students but also professionals write better and understand what they are writing about. The course was great overall and I felt there where very few negatives about it. The quizzes seem to touch on what we are learning about for the weak and enjoyed the filling the blank portions instead the standard true and false questions. Discussion posts were wonderful to read and understand other student’s insights and ideas, plus it was a great feedback opportunity. The individual work in week three was a great way to see what is in our local area for healthcare facilities. Really enjoyed this class! Hope everyone had a great time during this term and wish the best for everyone in the future. -Blake

Historical Essay #1: Confederation and Constitution Custom Essay

#1: Confederation and Constitution (due Week 4) As depression struck the new nation in the mid-1780s, new questions arose about the nature of American democracy. Many conservatives believed that the answer lay in a stronger national government. Most radicals believed it was up to the states to relieve the financial burden of the people. These sentiments fostered a movement for a new constitution. Political differences soon stimulated the creation of political parties. Compare and contrast the Articles of Confederation with the new Constitution of 1787. What were the strengths and weaknesses of the Articles vis-à-vis the Constitution? Give specific instances that demonstrate the weakness of the Articles (such as the Western problem). Then analyze the drafting of the Constitution, using specific details to show how the various states (slave vs. free, east vs. west) compromised in order to effectively draft a constitution. Pay particular attention to Roger Sherman’s plan, the Great Compromise, which broke a stalemate that could have been fatal to the development of the new Constitution. Finally, compare and contrast the debate over ratification between the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists. Make sure you cite specific examples from the Federalist Papers to support the Federalist position and contrast it with leading proponents of the opposition (such as John Hancock). Analyze how the debate over a bill of rights illustrates the differences between the two parties. Evaluate the relative success of the Bill of Rights in achieving an effective balance between national and states’ interests. This paper must be four to five double-spaced pages in length (not including the References page) and utilize no less than four academic quality sources. Margins should be no more than one inch (right and left) and the essay should be composed in an appropriate font and size. Sources must be documented and cited using APA format.

NURSING LEADERSHIP: clarify your current values/beliefs, vision, and mandate regarding leadership in nursing and you will critically analyze the fit between your current perspectives and the literature Custom Essay

LEADERSHIP PAPER In this individual written assignment (not a group assignment), you will clarify your current values/beliefs, vision, and mandate regarding leadership in nursing and you will critically analyze the fit between your current perspectives and the literature – both course materials and outside sources in each of the 3 parts of the assignment. The 1st part is about your own values and beliefs, so it is very personal but then, as with all three sections, you also need to situate it within the literature to demonstrate how you fit or do not fit with the literature. The 2nd part is much broader and is about your ideal vision related to leadership in nursing as a profession. The 3rd part is about what you think you yourself should be doing in order to live out your values/beliefs about leadership within the context of your vision for nursing. Remember to relate all of your reflections to the literature, even though you also will be writing about your personal beliefs and so on. The critical analysis is crucial. It is expected that you use the literature from course materials (text book chapters and required articles that we have covered by the date the paper is due), but additional new material should also be sought. The new material must be current (preferably no more than 5 years old, but definitely not older than 10 years Canadian journals) and relevant, so only about nursing leadership. Depth of analysis is essential, so be careful to explore each area; this paper is not simply a personal reflection. Your grade will reflect the extent to which you meet the following criteria: • Level of critical reflection in a) how you describe your personal values and beliefs about leadership in nursing, i.e., what is important to you from a personal level when nursing with persons you are leading, and b) relate to the literature (both course and new material). • Level of critical reflection in a) how you describe your vision related to leadership in nursing as a profession, i.e., what you envision the practice of leadership in nursing should be, and b) relate to the literature (both course and new material). • Level of critical reflection in how you a) describe your mandate as a nurse within the context of your own values/beliefs and your vision for nursing leadership, i.e., your personal policy or course of action in providing and promoting leadership in nursing, and b) relate to the literature (both course and new material). • Coherence, flow, and clarity of paper as per APA; relevant and accurate use of headings; accurate citation of references according to APA. NOTE: Some guiding questions for this critical review might include: What is the thesis or argument of the essay? What evidence (references) has the author provided? Is the personal perspective of the author clear? How well have the personal reflections been linked to the literature? Can you follow the transitions from one paragraph to the next? What level of critical analysis is evident?
